The staging of MMVD usually differs very distinctly between the presence/absence of congestive heart failure. However, this is not always easy to assess in clinical practice. Breed differences in chest radiographs, inability of some owners to count respiratory rates and the presence of major risk factors on echo can sometimes lead to a situation in which the decision for or against diuretics is not simple. In this online/non-interactive program, a case-based approach is applied in order to provide attendees with some decision support in their clinical work.
