This online non interactive program provides an overview of clinical trials evaluating pharmacologic treatment of heart disease in dogs, emphasizing clinical strategies for the primary care veterinarian. The practitioner will learn practical clinical approaches to the management of myxomatous mitral valve disease and dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs that are based upon current science. A discussion of new therapies and alternate strategies being developed for the treatment of heart disease and heart failure in dogs will be provided.
