This 2-day REMOTE Live Virtual lab will focus on learning the SDEP® Abdomen 17pt protocol, with 9 hours of wetlab time and 4 hours of technique based lectures to help foster your learning curve.
Join us remotely from the comfort of your own facility with a direct Zoom link to watch, listen and participate in lectures in real time, along with joining the group instructed wetlabs. You scan from your home machine on your patients, training with the watchful support of not only the main SDEP® Virtual instructor, but dedicated breakout room instructors and chat monitors.
Individual sonographers and their teams can easily join the REMOTE LIVE wet lab from anywhere in the world. On-demand access is available afterward through your exclusive SonoPath Education Network course link.

2026 JUNE: SDEP® Abdomen REMOTE Live Virtual Lab
To provide remote attendees the best possible experience, we recommend the following machine requirements:
Before committing to an SDEP® ultrasound lab, we encourage planning for success before and after your weekend training is completed. This begins with the correct equipment.
Please note: Handheld/POC units are not recommended for virtual training lab weekends, unless you will only be scanning animals 15lbs or less.
Minimum Requirements:
- 15.6” high-res LED monitor
- Color/power Doppler
- Microconvex probe (frequency range approx. 3–11 MHz)
- Medium-to-large patient convex or macro-convex probe (frequency range approx. 1–6 MHz)
For after lab case submissions:
- Video clips in DICOM format
- DICOM transfer and file compression functionality to the SonoPath server (contact distributor for confirmation)
- Note: Handheld/POC units are not accepted for case submissions to SonoPath
(After lab) Please note for submitting cases: DICOM format is required; however, minor deficiencies in the requirements may be accepted provided that the customer understands the limitations and how it may impact interpretation by the specialist.
